SKYLARK LOUNGE

This dark jazz, blues and live music venue features open mike jams and different live acts weekly. One of the partners of Skylark Lounge is multi-talented musician/stand-up comedian Danny Diaz who plays so many instruments he can even pretend to be playing them without them! See the video below.

Skylark has an excellent layout. There are banquettes lining the far wall. Leather couches and low seats are in the middle and the entire room faces the corner stage. The venue is intimate enough for mingling yet big enough to get up and boogie if the music strikes your fancy. We have boogied here, jammed and played the tambourine!

Most of the regulars are friends of the owners and local musos, but the place is so much fun that it will eventually grow a big following. It’s a fun place to chill to live jazz and to let your hair down and dance when the music gets funky!
